Nitartha International has been established in response to the need for an organization dedicated to using modern technologies to preserve the timeless teachings of Asia, and in particular the teachings of the Nyingma and Kagyu schools of Tibet. It is time for educational systems and texts from Asian cultures to meet the standards of the twentieth century so that they may be preserved for future generations. My vision and sincere hope is to preserve these texts and make these teachings available to as wide an audience as possible so that countless people may benefit from their wisdom. I hope that you will favorably respond to the projects of Nitartha International and contribute in whatever way is suitable to your ability. I extend my heartfelt gratitude.

Software development:
Nitartha International is taking advantage of an historic maturation of operating system standards to develop a fully functional Tibetan-language word processing program. A variety of different operating system vendors, such as the Microsoft Corporation in their Windows 95 and NT operating systems, have begun to enable operating systems for foreign languages, including Asian languages. International standards bodies are working to develop Unicode as an international language standard, which will include the Tibetan language characters. To take advantage of the enhanced language processing capabilities of these next generation operating systems, Nitartha International has underway a development project to construct a new Tibetan language processing system.
