This package contains 3 main programs:
A Tibetan keyboard driver (w/fonts),
A general purpose Tibetan file converter, and
An ACIP to Robillard Tibetan font file converter.

Tibetan For Windows supplies both the Tibetan font and a keyboard driver to make entering and editing Tibetan easy. You see Tibetan script on the screen as you type using your choice of keyboard input modes (Wylie, phonetic, Tibetan typewriter or user defined). Tibetan text can easily be cut and pasted between different Windows programs.

The Tibetan File Converter runs under either DOS or Windows and converts between any combination of Wylie, ACIP and the Robillard font. Phonetic transliteration can also be generated as output from any of the above formats.

A new ACIP to Robillard font file converter is based on the translator in the Macintosh Marpa program, and has much better conversion of Tibetanized Sanskrit than the previous converter.

You can exchange Tibetan files to and from your PC to any Macintosh computer equipped with the Robillard LTibetan font, so both computers can work on the same project.
