Our trial versions come with about 200 entries from each dictionary. These entries have been carefully chosen so
that you can get a good feel for the content and quality of the dictionaries, as well as the many specialized features
of the software.
Windows:
This will configure your system with a complete evaluation package for our software. The package contains: a
full set of Tibetan and diacritical fonts, a full working version of the TibetD Reader
software made especially for viewing our dictionaries and texts; an abridged version
of each of the dictionaries shown above; and a guide to the use of the dictionaries
and software. After installation, a new entry in the Windows start menu
called "Padma Karpo Translation Comm" will give you access to the whole
evaluation package. You can run one sample dictionary at a time or
several together to see how effective they are alone and how easily
they can be used together. When you have finished with the evaluation,
you can use the Windows uninstaller to remove it from your system (and
it really will be removed; we use the latest installation/uninstallation software!).

Electronic Texts with Reader Software
We have a variety of important texts from the Tibetan
Buddhist tradition in electronic form. Some are available for purchase and some are
available free.
Complete information about the texts available for purchase is here. The
texts for purchase come as a complete package, like the dictionaries,
with fonts, TibetD Reader, and installer. The reader software is the same as for
the dictionaries; our texts and dictionaries and software are part of a
integrated environment carefully put together for working with the
Tibetan language and pursuing buddhist studies. The editions of the
texts are very carefully produced.
We also have a range of Tibetan Buddhist texts in electronic form available
for free download here. These
texts are just the text files in TibetD Reader format and do not
include TibetD Reader software. You will need to have purchased one of our other products that
includes the Reader, such as one of our dictionaries or Tibetan text packages, or
our Tibetan Wordprocessing software called TibetDoc in order to be able to use these files.
