Translation and Introduction by Tony Duff
Shantideva, author of the text
Padma Karpo wrote an extensive commentary to Entering the Conduct called "A Lamp for the Path of the Middle Way, A Bitwise Commentary on Entering the Conduct".  We are pleased to present here a fine translation of the commentary.  The translation comes with an introduction that makes some key points about translation of terms and fully introduces the work.

The work, which is in PDF form, is fully typeset to highest commercial quality and could be printed and bound for your own use as a book or can be read electronically as provided.

This work is done to a level of quality beyond what would normally be given away for free, especially via the internet.  Still, it is offered to you for free, per our age-old buddhist tradition of offering dharma, where possible, for free.  Nonetheless, it is still protected by copyrights and there are some restrictions on how it may be used.  Please read the copyright notice at the front of the text and observe the author's requirements.
